Project Life Album :: 29th Anniversary :: August 2014

29 years is a long time. We celebrate the day we met every year, as well as our wedding anniversary. I used my Take Ten Kit for August 2014 as well as a few elements from earlier kits.

I cut this 29 out after drawing it freehand. I used a 3×4 card so I know what shape the 29 needed to be in. Then I added the date of our anniversary.

Our poor 15 year old had to photograph us at my request. He couldn’t stop laughing at us. I was trying to show that my dress had a bit of a vertical ruffle all the way to the floor. I love that dress! The card was absolutely perfect. My family iS my whole world. Even when they laugh at me.

I love the quote on this card! The colors and the arrows are perfect! I used a little cork arrow to show what we were launched into…and it was something great!!

The stamps, the star, the wood veneer cross in circle, the card – all came in the kit!

This polaroid card is so great! I had never used a letterpress card before and I love it!

This 12×12 pocket scrapbooking Anniversary page will face another page also with blues and greens.

Our Christmas card photos: 2009-2013

Our Christmas card photos from 2009, 2010 and 2011. Not your typical Christmas card photo but it’s ours.

I love figuring out what our Christmas card photo will be, whether it’s a collage or a family photo we took somewhere. Maybe one day it’ll be a family selfie!

These two pages will face each other in my 12×12 album. Making my Christmas photos, or choosing one, is always fun for me. I’m thinking this year maybe a selfie?
